The 95th annual Numurkah tennis tournament was in full swing despite blistering heat across the Goulburn Valley that challenged even the fittest of racquet wielders.
Participants at Numurkah were still giving it their all on the lawn, whether it be juniors or adults, and singles or doubles.
The junior singles matches commenced bright and early on Saturday at 8:00am, before the adult singles got underway a couple hours after, as temperatures began to soar.
Mixed doubles would start after the peak heat of the evening at Numurkah Lawn Tennis Club, while further doubles have been played across Sunday morning to get in before the heat as temperatures rise once again.
News photographer Megan Fisher was at Numurkah Lawn Tennis Club on Saturday morning to capture the singles playing in the annual tournament.
