There were no mallets made of flamingos and the balls were not hedgehogs, but otherwise, Kyabram Croquet Club did its best impression of Alice in Wonderland this week.

Club members dressed in colourful regalia to pay homage to the Lewis Carroll story and the Queen of Hearts’ unconventional croquet game, the event coinciding with Campaspe Shire’s ‘Wonderland on the Murray’ events.
