Chateau Limousins, run by the McIntyre family in Londrigan, Victoria, is preparing for their 12th Annual Sale.
The McIntyre family of Chateau Limousins have seen some changes and the evolving market in the stud stock industry, and therefore, the relevance in the commercial market.

But the one thing that has stood out is the need for easy-doing stock that are free in their movement, easy to handle and have added body length to add that extra weight.
This year’s sale line-up comprising rising two-year-old and 18-month-old sires will showcase these unwavering traits.
There will be bulls covering all bases, from heifer-friendly sires through to bulls that maintain strong growth traits, ensuring the right bull for every need.
There will be an even mix of traditional Apricot and Black bulls on offer, with the majority being Polled, there has been no sacrifice of that ‘Limo shape’.
With genetics being utilised from all over the world through both A.I. and E.T., coupled with the family’s leading sires backed with 40 years of breeding experience over two generations of continuous management, combined with the use of Breedplan to maintain the ‘Chateau’ style of Limousin, being long-bodied cattle with a soft smooth skin and hair type.
With genetics from worldwide, Breedplan, and 40 years of experience, they offer a range of bulls suitable for various needs.
The McIntyre family, now entering their third generation of cattle breeding, are open and welcome your inspection during the Stock & Land Beef Week fields.
They will display the upcoming draft of sale bulls, a selection of the herd ranging from yearling heifers through to cow with calves at foot, and for the first time, a small group of purebred potential show steers.
The 12th Annual Chateau Limousin Sale will be held via Open Cry Video Auction on property on Thursday, March 5 with online bidding available via Auctions Plus with video available before the sale.
