Emergency services were called to the incident at around 4.55pm on December 15 where police believe a minivan containing nine occupants was travelling along Chapel Rd before the driver lost control and crashed into a tree.
Four passengers, who are yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
A spokesperson for Ambulance Victoria said three air ambulance helicopters, Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance and Advanced Life Support paramedic crews assessed and treated multiple patients at the scene.
A child with upper and lower body injuries was airlifted to the Royal Children's Hospital in a critical condition.
A teenage female with upper body injuries was airlifted to the Royal Children's Hospital in a critical condition.
