Defender Catley and midfielder Cooney-Cross played full games while Foord entered as a 58th-minute substitute at Meadow Park on Tuesday night.
But it was Beth Mead's early deflected goal that earned the Gunners a 1-0 win against FC Twente and boosted the side's hopes of a top-four finish.
England striker Mead struck in the 10th minute and that was enough to secure a third group-phase win of the season and lift them up to sixth in the table on nine points.
"The clean sheet is important, Anneke Borbe (goalkeeper) took a knock to the face, but she was great and did everything she needed to really well," Catley told uefa.com.
"It was a big win, an important one. We could have scored more but they really put bodies on the line. There were three or four goal line clearances but I'm pleased with how we stuck together."
Arsenal, who beat Liverpool 2-1 on Saturday to stay fourth in the Women's Super League, twice went close when Mariona Caldentey and Mead had shots cleared off the line before the latter gave them an early lead.
Twente, winless after four matches in this season's competition, gave up possession deep in their own half and following good work from Caldentey and Alessia Russo, Mead curled a fine finish inside the far post.Â
The Gunners carved out further first-half chances, before the Dutch side unsuccessfully appealed for a penalty shortly before halftime.
Elsewhere, Real Madrid had two players sent off in a 2-0 home win over Wolfsburg, which lifted them level on points with leaders Barcelona, Juventus and Lyon (10 points).
Maria Mendez gave the hosts a first-half lead at Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano before France defender Maelle Lakrar was sent off for her second yellow card in first-half added time.
Colombia forward Linda Caicedo doubled the lead midway through the second period and striker Iris Ashley was shown a straight red in the 93rd.
Italy striker Cristiana Girelli converted a penalty in each half as Juventus thrashed St Polten 5-0 in Austria, while PSG face an uphill task to qualify for the play-offs as a goalless home draw against Belgian side Leuven left them on one point after five matches and third from bottom.
