The works, which began on Monday, December 1, will include expansion joint replacements, asphalt works and minor barrier post repairs.
Department of Transport and Planning Loddon Mallee Hume executive director Anthony Judd said the maintenance was routine.
“Crews are out delivering hundreds of maintenance projects and rebuilding, repairing and resurfacing roads right across the state,” he said.
Traffic controls will be in place for the duration of the works, including a single lane closure to ensure the safety of drivers and crews.
Works will continue until Saturday, December 20 before pausing for the holiday period, and resume early next year.
