Caitlin is a national champion in sports aerobics and works part-time at Fryers Street Food Store.
She hopes to show students that leadership isn’t limited to one pathway.
“I wanted to be captain to show you can take a different route at school, like VM (Vocational Major), and still lead — it’s not always about academics,” she said.
After school, she hopes to complete a certificate in veterinary nursing.

Principal Barbara O’Brien praised the captains on their appointments and said each had earned their place in the leadership team.
“Choosing this team was about creating ambassadors for our school — young people who will represent the college and bring their peers’ ideas and opinions to the executive leadership team,” she said.
Each of the captains bring ambition and diverse talents to their roles, aiming to create a positive legacy.
