At 3.50pm, the CFA declared the grassfire at Kialla under control.
The fire was restricted to grassland on private property, burning about five hectares and causing no impact to structures or infrastructure.
It is not being treated as suspicious.
The CFA would like to remind the community to be vigilant when burning off or using machinery on private property until the fire danger period officially begins on Monday, November 10, as the grass is currently very dry and can easily catch fire.
