School: Shepparton ACE Secondary College
Year 12
What has been the highlight of your high school years?
It’s been a mix between the flight to Cairns for a Year 12 camp and devising an original script for the Year 12 movie, which is a tradition at this school.
What has been your favourite subject and why?
English, this subject lets me write my stories and share them with the world … or at least my teacher.
What challenges have you overcome to get here?
Mainly isolation from my friends due to them being back in my home town, Cobram.
What are your plans for next year and beyond?
Firstly, get a job and move out of home. After that, I don’t have any plans, because I’d rather see where life takes me.
What advice would you give to the younger students coming through?
Be yourself … It’s important you know who you are so you don’t end up in a life you hate.
What are you looking forward to the most about graduating?
The freedom to start living on my own terms, no matter what the challenges.
