National Carers Week is an opportunity to recognise the extraordinary contribution and shine a light on the vital role carers play across our region.

Each day, unpaid carers provide essential emotional, physical and practical support whether that be family members, friends or people in the community who are ageing, living with disability, mental illness or chronic health conditions.

Without their commitment, many people would struggle to live independently or remain connected to their communities.
