Finley Celebrates 70 Years of Can Assist

Finley is turning pink in celebration of the 70th anniversary of Can Assist - an organisation that has stood beside country cancer patients for seven decades, offering practical support, compassion, and care.

To mark this incredible milestone, the community is invited to a special high tea event this Sunday.

It will be held from 2pm in the Lions Pavilion at the Finley Showgrounds.

Tickets are just $20, which includes bubbles on arrival, finger food, and an afternoon filled with heartfelt stories, laughter, and connection.

Guests will hear from inspiring speakers who will share their personal journeys and how Can Assist has impacted their lives.

There will also be displays and purchasable items, with every dollar raised staying local supporting families right here in our region.

The theme is ‘Wear your best pink’, so grab your friends, don your brightest outfit, and come celebrate an organisation that’s truly integral to our community.
