Week three (October 16-22 ) offers a fresh line-up of events celebrating the vibrant lives and contributions of older Benalla residents.
From music and movement to stories, tech and creativity, the festival invites seniors to try something new, meet others and enjoy everything that makes the Rose City community special.
Benalla Rural City Mayor Bernie Hearn said the festival was about more than just fun, it was about recognising the value of the seniors in our region.
“The Seniors Festival is a time to honour our senior community members, share experiences and build new connections,” Cr Hearn said.
“Week three offers a fantastic variety of events — whether you’re interested in local history, picking up a new skill, or just enjoying a cuppa and a chat, there’s something for you.”
Week three highlights include:
- World Flavours Morning Tea — delight your senses with food, music and culture from around the globe.
- Author Talk with Gabriel Bergmoser — hear from the best-selling author as he shares inspiration on his latest fast-paced thriller.
- Tech Savvy Seniors — build your digital confidence and discover tools to help you stay connected and independent.

“Festival events are a great way to try something you might not usually do,” Cr Hearn said.
“I encourage everyone to get involved and make the most of what’s on offer.”
