Drinks will be hosted in the affectionately named Poppy Lane, located next to the Rochester Hotel.
RBN vice-president Kate Taylor is looking forward to utilising the space.
“It’s such a great venue, and it’s got such a great vibe,” she said.
“It’s also supporting one of our local businesses.”
It is a chance for Rochy residents to enjoy a knock-off drink from 5.30pm, connecting over nibbles and tipples.
Mrs Taylor said the event was open to all, providing businesspeople a chance to speak with the new faces at RBN.
“It’s a completely new committee,” she said.
“It is to connect to our members, but we’re inviting all businesses to come along.
“This is just a really good opportunity to chat to those people who have been part of the network for some time, but also for new businesses or existing businesses to find out exactly who are we and what can we do for them.”
The RBN committee hope that locals will jump on board the event straight after work.
“I know if I’ve gone home and kicked off the shoes, if I have to put them back on to go out again, I might think twice about it,” Mrs Taylor said.
“That’s why we thought 5.30pm is perfect, nobody’s actually got home to the couch yet.
“So we hope that they’re going to take us up on the invitation and swing past and have a drink.”
The free event includes nibbles to share, and drinks are available at bar prices.
