TAYLOR: A Tribute to the Eras of Taylor Swift will take the stage at Riverlinks Eastbank on Friday, September 12, as part of its Australian tour this September and October.
The international production has already traversed South Africa and Canada, bringing to life over 20 of Swift’s biggest hits through live vocals, sparkly costumes and an international cast of musicians and dancers.
Now, the countdown to Shepparton is on.
But that’s not all.
Producer Johnny Van Grinsven said the timing couldn’t be better, as it coincided with the upcoming release of Swift’s 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl, on October 3.
“There’s a lot of buzz at the moment,” he said.
“We’re expecting audiences to be extra excited and engaged, and that’s great because it makes for really fun and memorable shows.”
Leading the tribute is New Zealand singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and proud ‘Swiftie’, Josette.
With a striking physical resemblance to the pop icon, Josette will strap on her own spangled bodysuit and step into the various eras of Swift’s career.
Her advice to the audience: dress up as your most-loved era.
“It’s my favourite thing, getting to find people I’m twinning with in the audience,” she said.
For those who can’t dress up, there will be no Bad Blood — only plenty of friendship bracelets traded around the audience to embrace the spirit of the event.
Naturally, the highlight will be the set list.
Songs spanning Swift’s chart-topping career will be featured, from Shake It Off to Love Story and Anti-Hero.
“It’s an absolute joy to give my all every performance,” Josette said.
“I hope the Shepparton Swifties are just as excited as I am.”
TAYLOR: A Tribute to the Eras of Taylor Swift is on Friday, September 12, at Riverlinks Eastbank, 70 Welsford St, Shepparton.
Tickets for the all-ages show are on sale now via Riverlinks.
At the forefront of the tribute is New Zealand singer-songwriter Josette.
