There’s been a positive development after Federation Council announced the temporary closure of the Service NSW Corowa Agency last week.
Following discussions with representatives this week, Service NSW will now provide staff to operate the agency two days per week from Monday, August 4 until further notice.
Service NSW Corowa Agency will operate, albeit on a reduced schedule.
The interim hours of operation will be:
- Monday: 9:30 am - 3:30 pm (closed for lunch from 12pm - 12:45 pm)
- Tuesday: 9:30 am - 3:30 pm (closed for lunch 12pm - 12:45 pm)
A Federation Council spokesperson said that they understood the initial announcement of a temporary closure was concerning.
“We appreciate your understanding and patience as council and Service NSW have worked together through these challenges to ensure continued service,” the spokesperson said.
“On other days, the nearest service centres are located in Albury and Finley.”

Federation Council is still actively exploring options to ensure this valuable service can fully resume and will provide further updates on the future of the Service NSW Corowa Agency as soon as more information becomes available.
