Two stacked events are set for sundown at the Rochester Shire Hall, kicking off from 6pm.
Led by Singaporean-Australian artist Jamie Lewis, attendees will enjoy a meal, share stories and join in conversations at ART Dinner.
Jamie is a creator and curator, focused on artistic events designed for the space they will be engaged with in, known as site-responsive performance.
She has spent time looking at locally-sourced produce and multicultural cuisine in Shepparton.
Using this knowledge, Jamie will shift her focus to the neighbouring Campaspe Shire, looking to utilise produce from farmers and growers in the region for the dinner.
Attendees will then discuss themes around agriculture, food and their futures.
Talk about food for thought.
Tickets for the fully catered dinner are $25 and can be purchased at trybooking.com/events/landing/1370615
AntPaul Projects
Following the dinner, the shire hall will be transformed into an audio-visual arena, led by AntPaul Projects.
Composer Anthony Lyons and visual artist Paul Fletcher live in regional Victoria and collaborate for AntPaul Projects.
Their work has been performed and installed across the globe, on show in New York City and splashed across Europe.
In Rochy, they will encourage a connection between themselves, their work and their audience.
The duo combines live compositions — musical and visual — with abstract animations and experimental soundscapes.
Their performance is free, and runs from 8pm to 10pm at the hall.
