The event is taking place at its 19 Ballintine St home from 6.30pm, with pizza supplied for anyone feeling peckish.
Waminda Community House manager Leeane Bullard said its programs were in full swing both on-site and at the CWA Hall.
“We’d love your help to keep the good work going,” she said.
“We’re calling on community-minded, creative and practical people to volunteer with us as part of our Link-Up program and other community initiatives.
“Whether you have a few hours to spare or a unique skill to share, we’d love to hear from you.”
Art tutors wanted
Do you love art or have a creative skill or craft you'd like to share?
Waminda is looking for people to run one-off or short art sessions with the community at the CWA Hall in Benalla.
Whether you’re into painting, knitting, collage or something totally different, Waminda would love to hear from you.
Tech helpers for seniors
Are you a bit of a tech wiz?
Local seniors at the CWA Hall would love a friendly helper every fortnight to answer questions about phones, tablets and other devices.
No expert skills are needed – just a patient and helpful attitude.
Cooking and baking volunteers
Do you enjoy cooking, baking or sharing budget-friendly meal tips?
Join the volunteer kitchen crew at Waminda to help with morning teas, community lunches and more.
Gardening and maintenance
Prefer to be outdoors or keep things tidy?
Waminda would love a hand with gardening, maintenance and light cleaning to keep its home looking its best.
If you feel you could help out in any of these areas, or in any other way, pop along to the recruitment drive.
To RSVP or for more information call Leeane Bullard or Eleanor Currie on 0491 630 213.
