The sun shone for a spectacular weekend of equine activities across Victoria for Shepparton Pony Club members.

Some members choosing to participate in Combined Training practice at the club’s ground at Kialla.
Providing members the opportunity to ride a dressage test of their choice, have it critiqued by the club’s extremely knowledgeable mum and coach Lisa Kellock and the chance to ride their chosen test again, enabling them to fine tune it using the feedback provided.
Continuing on to do the same with a showjumping course set at a height they were comfortable with.
Proving to be a fun and enjoyable day for all involved.
Shepparton member Indi Funston rode with precision at the HRCAV competition held at Bamawm Extension on behalf of Echuca and District Adult Rider Club.
Indi and her faithful steed Castan Allt Beatrix, aka Pumpkin, have been dedicating any spare time practising their shared skills and it’s paid off.
Coming home from the day with the championship after placing first in smartest on parade, second in ridden mount, second for rider and first in mount most suitable.

Numerous members attended Rochester Pony Club’s smoothly-run Combined Training Competition, at Rochester.
Combined training is a competition comprising of a dressage session and a showjumping round, the results from both disciplines combined to calculate the placings.
Shepparton members having an enjoyable day, while looking extremely classy in full competition uniform.
Riders finishing with a variety of results; Zara Stumpo taking out the championship for Grade 4 Pony Club on Salient Quickstep, aka Esme, Ruby Emanueli coming home with third place in Grade 3 Pony Club, Edith Osbourne placing fifth in Pony Club Grade 5.
Tori Huddleston narrowly missing out on a place in Pony Club Grade 4 riding Ash beautifully for the day.
Charlotte Kent rode Inky in the Pony Club Grade 6, bringing home fifth place.
Fleur Osbourne and Annabelle Kent received a lovely prize bag for participating in the Ungraded Pony Club Riders class, which provided a fabulous opportunity to experience a competition atmosphere for the younger riders.
Club committee members Julie Telford and Karen Bond rode in Open classes on the day, not lucky enough to place.
Travelling to Rochester provided the perfect opportunity for Shepparton members to catch up with past members Elsie Stevens and Evie Clancy.
Elsie transferring to Rochester Pony Club when her family relocated to Nanneella and Evie was at the Rochester sporting grounds as she plays for a Rochester’s girls football team.
Seeing all the girls together and interacting like no time had passed highlighted the wonderful friendships, some life long, pony club creates.

Offering the opportunity to increase and build on your equine knowledge and create life long friendship and memories.
