Campaspe Shire Council has upgraded the path beside the Campaspe River near the Coliban Water tower in Rochester.

Council installed a 1.2m-wide, 160m-long compressed rock pathway from the bridge to the water tower.

Included in the improvement was the removal of a tree to make the pathway safer, as well as upgraded irrigation.

The Campaspe River Reserve Committee looks after the area and was consulted by council for the improvements.
