The Cats offered very little resistance against the Grasshoppers, who essentially walked them off the park in the first quarter, tallying 20 goals in the first quarter while leaving LBU with just three.
Another massive effort by Colbo saw the side put a further 24 goals on the scoreboard in the lead-up to half-time, while LBU managed to improve, scrounging seven.

Steady improvement in attack couldn’t stop the tidal wave the Cats’ defenders suffered, with a 19-goal third term onslaught making the lead 45 with a quarter still to play.
Six more goals was all LBU could muster, while the Grasshoppers had their quietest quarter, but still managed to find the net 16 times.

The match ended as a 55-goal thrashing at home with the Cats still yet to sniff a win in 2025.
The final score was LBU 24 to Colbinabbin 79.

The Cats will get a brief reprieve in round four when they face fellow winless side Heathcote.
Colbinabbin will duke it out with Leitchville-Gunbower, which is also struggling to find form, winning one game this season.

Huntly vs Elmore
Elmore will rue a missed opportunity after ceding a 10-goal half-time lead to fall to Huntly 43-40.
After a back-and-forth first period that finished level, the Bloods made their move in the second to burst to that double-digit advantage at the main break.
Huntly needed less than a quarter to turn the game around, leading by one at the final change before closing out the game in the last.

Mount Pleasant vs Leitchville-Gunbower
Travelling to Toolleen Recreation Reserve, Leitchville-Gunbower wasn’t in it for much of the contest as the mighty Mounts took it to the visitor.
There was clearly a disparity between the two sides as Mount Pleasant dominated throughout to end its day with a 30-goal victory.
The final score was Mount Pleasant 63 to Leitchville-Gunbower 33.
The Mounts are on top of the ladder, one of three unbeaten sides.
