The auditions are done, now it’s time for the show.

At the weekend, Goulburn Valley Suns’ youth sides completed the final round of Junior Boys’ National Premier League pre-qualification in a Sunday special, hosting Box Hill United at McEwen Reserve.

In the under-14 match, the Suns fell 3-2 to Box Hill despite William Mathers and Jeremiah Elrayah finding the net for the hosts.

The under-15 clash went the Suns’ way via a sizzling 6-0 result, while in the under-17 contest, Box Hill emerged a 3-2 victor thanks to a pair of late goals from the visitor.

With the grading process now complete, the Suns sides will be entered into respective divisions — starting May 4 — based on their performance during pre-qualification.
