The stopover at the Vietnam Veterans Commemorative Walk on High St, Seymour, featured a short introduction by local Vietnam veteran Hank Kreemers. He was instrumental in the creation of the walk, and his address quickly transfixed the crowd in such a way that the stay was extended well beyond the planned time.

Many did not know of the walk’s existence, and it triggered many a conversation and memory of those times during the weekend. It is likely that many will return and take advantage of the longer presentation available.
