Narromine farmer Karin Stark, who, along with her partner, installed Australia's biggest solar/diesel hybrid water pumping system, will discuss the benefits of renewables in agriculture at Shepparton’s Beneath the Wisteria session on August 12.
Ms Stark has, for some 17 years, engaged with communities throughout central-west NSW around contemporary environmental issues.
She also staged Australia's first National Renewables in Agriculture conference last year and for that initiative was a finalist in the 2019 NSW-ACT AgriFutures Rural Women's Award.
The Beneath the Wisteria session will be held on Wednesday, August 12, starting at 10 am.
