Various roads around Shepparton’s central business district will be closed on Saturday, November 11.

The Fryers Street Food Festival will entertain all and sundry from 4pm, and in preparation a number of streets in the surrounding area will need to be closed to traffic.

From 7.30am, Edward St will be closed from Corio St to Maude St and Maude St between Fryers St and Nixon St.

From 12.30pm, Fryers St from Wyndham St to Corio St will also be closed — as will the Maude St Mall Precinct.

All roads will reopen for Sunday morning traffic as usual.

Organisers have urged that it is essential that there are no cars parked on the streets listed above by the time they are slated to close, in order to allow event vendors to set up for the festival.

All shops in the event area will remain open as usual to foot traffic.
