Tracey Pasco is Deni’s denizen of the demonic and this year she celebrates a decade of dedicated Halloween devilry.
Tracey and her family moved to Deniliquin 10 years ago from their family farm, and she saw the shift as an urban opportunity to build something distinctly bizarre.
“Living out on the farm, we couldn’t do much trick-or-treating, without a lot of travel, or even decorate the house just for ourselves, but when we moved here, it was the perfect excuse,” she said.
If anything anywhere in town is going to channel the terrifying – with bats, ghosts, witches, warlocks and the living dead – is it Tracey’s home at 268 River St, where once again she has created a frightening fantasy of Halloween horrors.
Right down to a graveyard where last week she had a front lawn.
Trace says all trick-or-treaters are welcome to come and view the house – if they are brave enough.
And if you can survive all the way to the front door, you might get away with a lolly or two – and hope it isn’t cursed by some secret spell.
