Played on their home courts, it is the first time EPS has made it to this level of competition.
The superstar netball team played against Griffith East Public School in front of a mixed crowd of parents, students, teachers, staff and the visiting team.
It was a thrilling game to watch as the sides battled it out.
The play was a little stop start to begin with and then each team began to transition the ball down the court.
Accurate shooting from both teams kept the score tight.
Nina Glowrey was proving a problem in defence for the Griffith shooters often rebounding or intercepting passes.
The game went into time on as it was even at the end of the last quarter.
With an extra five minutes for both ends, Edward kept their calm and ran away in the end winning by seven goals.
It was a huge effort for all players.
Edward are set to play Lake Albert next.
“Thank you to Griffith East Public School for a great game today,” the school said.
