Multiple clubs kicked off their pre-season preparations at the weekend, including Kyabram District League outfit Sheppaton East.
The Eagles welcomed Bonnie Doon to Central Park and it was a solid outing for Duane Hueston and his charges ahead of their round one contest against Dookie United.

● In other pre-season outings, several Goulburn Valley League clubs got some miles in the legs at the weekend.
Mooroopna went up against Sandhurst on Sunday, while Shepparton Swans challenged metro powerhouse Keilor, with both matches held at Mercury Dve.
Shepparton United squared up to Pascoe Vale at Rushworth, while Rochester walked away with a win over Eaglehawk.
Those matches were held in wet and windy conditions.
Euroa saluted by 10 points over Mornington Peninsula outfit Frankston, while Tatura toughed it out against Ovens and Murray big-hitter Albury.
Shepparton got the chocolates over North Albury, while Seymour slogged it out against Northcote Park in a rain-affected contest.
And Murray Football League's reigning premier Nathalia suffered a loss to Lockington-Bamawm.
