Hundreds of junior competitors tackled Shepparton's local BMX track at the weekend, as the region became the epicentre of BMX racing in Australia.

With the BMX World Cup the main feature at the weekend, there was still time for round one of the BMX Australia National Series event.
A number of local challengers enjoyed great performances across the weekend, with multiple riders finishing on the podium.
In the under-13 boys class, Shepparton BMX Club's Fletcher Klepiak walked away with silver, while compatriot Austin McNair settled for third in the under-16 boys class.
And youngster Jabe Brown finished fifth in his under-12 boys class event.
