The residents of a small town in South Australia have been told to take shelter from an out-of-control bushfire.
An emergency warning was issued on Saturday for Montacute, with a population of about 300, in the Adelaide Hills.
"Conditions are dangerous and firefighters are now unable to prevent the fire spreading," the SA Country Fire Service said.
Residents were told to take shelter in solid buildings as it was now too late to leave.
The fire is burning in a southeasterly direction towards the town.
