An impressive Tatura outfit produced a fine performance with the bat on Saturday to down Mooroopna away from home.

The Cricket Shepparton under-14 A-grade fixture had plenty of action across its two days, with Tatura’s 230 runs too much for the Cats’ 113.

Opening batters Ben O’Connell and Balraj Singh starred for the Bulldogs, with Singh scoring an impressive 65.

However it was Tyson Webb who stole the show for Tatura, taking 5-4 and knocking 48 with the bat.

The win puts Tatura in third on the ladder heading into the Christmas break, while Mooroopna sits in sixth.
