Without a blemish on their record before the weekend's grand final, the Cobras made no mistakes in their title bout against Dhurringile, securing a dominant 9-74 to 1-27 win.
The emphatic result ensured the Cobras etched their name in Goulburn Murray Lawn Tennis folklore as premier and champions.
In a sign of how impressive Cobram's season has been, the set conceded in the final was just the fourth one the Cobras have let slip during their campaign.
Cobras’ captain Rod Armstrong said he was proud that his side was able to get the job done and finish the year undefeated.
“It is a pretty special feeling,” he said.
“We knew that we still had to deliver, it wasn't going to be handed to us. Dhurringile are a competitive side with some great players.
“But everyone stood up on the day, which was great.
“It was a really nice way to cap off a consistent season.”
The win was spearheaded by the Cobras’ skipper who was judged best-on in the final.
Armstrong was well supported by strong efforts from Glenise Sefton and Matt Ross-Soden, while teammate Steve Kelly was named the most valuable player of the season.
“We played all eight players which meant we needed to re-arrange the side a bit,” Armstrong said.
“But to everyone's credit they all clicked and played really well. Matt and Glenise were both standouts on the day.
“And Steve was awarded season MVP, he enjoyed a great season on the court and it was great to see him awarded for that.”
