The auxiliary was formed at the end of 2018, having previously been known as the Wallan Ambulance Auxiliary, but like many things was thrown a curveball by the COVID-19 pandemic.
After being forced into hibernation, the group is now actively looking for new members to help it achieve its aim of supporting all ambulance stations in Mitchell Shire (Broadford, Kilmore, Seymour and Wallan) by raising funds for medical and training equipment needed by the branches, which are not included in the annual Ambulance Victoria budget.
