Free beer for football clubs

Every football club in Victoria with a senior side can claim a share in an enticing giveaway next week.

Frothy will donate up to 8,000 slabs to local clubs across the state on Wednesday, with clubs able to register at to pick up the free beer.

Only clubs who have signed up by Sunday will be eligible to pick up their free prize though, with Phillips Cellars in Shepparton and the Cobram Hotel the closest of the 15 pick up sites to the Goulburn Valley and its surrounds.

"Footy and Frothies are a fantastic combination," Frothy's new head of sponsorship Jarryd Roughead said.
"Local footy is the backbone of our great game so we want to give local clubs the chance to raise some money off the back of this great tasting beer.
"This is a great way to help local footy clubs raise some funds."

Participating clubs will receive around 10-15 slabs of the Matilda Bay brew.
