Scheduled for Saturday, April 30, the annual event will raise funds for local, national and international causes.
In 2021, the trivia night raised $11,088 towards local schools and organisations such as the Seymour, Hilldene and Tallarook CFA, the Seymour SES unit, Goulburn Options and Seymour FM.
Money was also put towards Polio Plus, one of Rotary’s campaigns to eradicate polio, and the Shelter Box initiaitve, a program designed to provide emergency shelter and essentials following natural and humanitarian disasters.
In addition to carefully crafted questions, this year’s event is set to be characterised by great entertainment, games, auctions and raffles.
Seymour Rotary Club president Kathy Mills is excited to see the community come together for the group’s major fundraiser for the year.
“I'm looking forward to seeing the community happy. The people that are there, they're all having a good night. They're all enjoying each other's company,” she said.
“I'm hoping that we're able to achieve great goals so that we've got a great amount to put into the community”.
The trivia night will be hosted by Ian Moore at St Mary’s College Hall from 6.15pm on April 30. Tickets are available from Cartridge World, Seymour.
