Australian actor Chris Hemsworth has come in second to Dwayne Johnson in the Forbes list of the world's ten highest-paid actors.
Hemsworth owes most of his earnings of $US76.4 million ($US112.7 million) to the blockbuster Avengers: Endgame.
Johnson, also known as "The Rock", earned an estimated $US89.4 million between June 1, 2018, and June 1, 2019.
He is currently on theatre screens in the summer blockbuster Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw"opposite British actor Jason Statham.
Third-placed Robert Downey Jr took in $US66 million from June 2018 to the end of May 2019, also working on Avengers: Endgame, according to the Forbes List which was released on Wednesday.
The figures were based on data from Nielsen, ComScore, Box Office Mojo and IMDB, as well as interviews with industry insiders, according to Forbes.
