Round seven results

Heat 54 d Celtics 34

Heat started strongly and established an early lead, but Celtics worked their way back into the game to be within seven points at half-time. In the second half, Heat continued to work the ball around the key with multiple shots going up. Celtics defended strongly and there were several steals and breaks back down court. Harry sunk most of his shots to finish up with nine baskets for Celtics, with Floyd scoring 25 for Heat.

Magic 35 d Bulls 34

Magic also started strongly, but following a timeout the Bulls players got into their groove and at half-time were within seven points. Samuel Jackson and Josh Evans competed strongly under the basket, blocking shots and working hard for the rebound. The second half was largely the opposite of the first, with the Bulls scoring more fluidly to be four points up with less than two minutes to go. In what was a tense last minute, Magic were able to score two baskets and in the last three seconds went to the free throw line for an extra shot. In a game full of excitement, Elsie Boyer sank three three-pointers for Magic.
