Tat Chat: 2019 Creative Arts Exhibition student winners

By Laura Briggs

On Sunday, August 25 Eydie, Tori, Isabella, Elliana and Annaliese from Sacred Heart School participated in the Country Women's Association 2019 Creative Arts Exhibition.

The girls entered a range of handmade items in the junior section. Some of the categories included: articles from recycled materials, photos, craft, art, three iced cup cakes, uncooked slice and fun with fabric.

They were all rewarded with first, second or highly commended in multiple categories.

Isabella also received the Art Award trophy for her self-portrait and sailboat picture. Eydie, Tori and Isabella enjoyed icing 54 cup cakes on the day to sell. They had lots of fun.

Once a month the girls participate in the Tatura Rodney CWA Juniors, where they have the opportunity to learn art and craft skills while having fun with their friends.
