Both teams are coming off victories in their opening clashes of the season.
Bulldogs coach Caitlyn Price said her team started slowly last week, but still came away with a 10-goal win over Katunga, while United won by six goals against Tungamah.
Much like their football counterparts, the match-up between Waaia and Katamatite looks like a mouth-watering encounter.
Both teams had big wins last week, with Waaia taking the points against Blighty 57-15 and Katamatite was far too good for Rennie in the 68-26 home-court win.
Bombers coach Nikki Foster was expecting a tougher contest against the Tigers than what they experienced last week against Blighty.
“They are pretty much what they were two years ago,” Foster said.
“They are a solid outfit and I expect a big challenge ahead for us, but i think we will match-up well.”
Despite only getting one practice game in, Foster said her team combined well.
“We have a lot of new players and a lot of new combinations,” she said.
“They all worked together and everything just gelled.”
Coming off the bye, Tocumwal heads to Yarrawonga to take on Tungamah, while the Bears’ home court gets an upgrade.
Bloods coach Kate Bird said her team was still finding its feet after a long layoff.
“We're still finding our feet with different combinations throughout our A and B squads,” Bird said.
“We have been doing a fair bit of match practice at training, so we can improve our match fitness.”
In the round's other clashes, Katandra plays Blighty, Mathoura takes on Katunga, Deniliquin Rovers battle Yarroweyah and Rennie clashes with Jerilderie.
After splitting its first two games Berrigan has the bye.
