Tatura-Hill Top — comprising the newly-formed "one town club" in Goulburn Valley Bowls Pennant for season 2020-21 — is certainly serious about getting its bowlers out on the greens for regular bowls training is being scheduled for up to three times a week.

Players that can make themselves available can train under lights at the Tatura club on Thursday and on Saturday at the Hill Top venue in a prearranged pennant competition.

Then on Tuesday at Tatura from mid afternoon some organised training is available.

Keen bowlers are also utilising the greens on every other day with the greens open at both clubs.

Tatura-Hill Top with its merger will now find itself as potentially the club with the highest membership in GV bowls.

The task for selectors to sort players into Weekend and Midweek pennant divisions will certainly be a big task, so members are requested to please give consideration to the difficult task they face, particularly in the early stages of the season.

The delayed start of the season has meant many bowlers have not been active on the greens, but with the pennant due to commence in the first week of November there has been a large contingent of bowlers who have now graced the bowling green.
