Unfortunately for the home side, lightning struck twice when they lost on the last delivery of the game against Latrobe Valley.
Yesterday's narrow loss was a repeat of Monday's agonising final-ball defeat to Leongatha and District Cricket Association.
However, Shepparton had the ball in hand unlike Monday's classic when they were chasing.

It was a promising start to the contest for Shepparton, with opening pair Dylan Grandell (Numurkah) and Mitch McGrath (Karramomus) getting early runs on the board.
Both departed with the score on 50, which brought Monday's star Shoaib Shaikh to the crease.
The Mooroopna import scored 52 runs off 69 deliveries, crunching three boundaries and six maximums in his innings.
Numurkah's Michael Eckard went two better in his half-century knock, whacking 54 runs off 56 deliveries.
Eckard belted two boundaries and three sixes to guide Shepparton to 218 off 47 overs.
With the ball in hand Shepparton was unable to get any early wickets, as Latrobe Valley steadily pegged back the runs with somewhat ease.
Shepparton United's Dwain Vidler (3-11) was the pick of the bowlers for the defending side as Latrobe Valley cruised to within reach of the 219 runs needed.
With Latrobe needing a run a ball with 10 overs remaining, the match looked destined to finish late in the piece.
A wicket to Eckard (1-30) slowed Latrobe Valley down, as the chasing outfit needing 35 runs off the final five overs.
The game continued to ebb towards the final over, as a wicket to United's Sam Nash (1-34) left Shepparton needing to defend 12 runs off 12 balls.
Unfortunately, Shepparton was unable to get across the line as Latrobe Valley scored the four runs needed off the final over on the last delivery off the match.
