Fred Andronaco steered his side to Shepparton District Junior Football League success last year and is again locked in to take charge of the clipboard.
Like all junior teams there will be a changing of the guard of sorts for the reigning premier, with some players moving on to open age football and others testing their mettle at a higher level.
But Andronaco is confident his charges will be able to put in another great showing this season.
“We just wanted to get it out there and let everyone know who might be interested to come down and have a look,” Andronaco said.
“Obviously being premier from last year we're hoping to have a really good crack to defend it.
“Hopefully we can keep improving and the girls can keep learning.”
Preseason training for the Bears starts tonight from 5 pm at Victoria Park Lake (opposite KFC) and the session will serve as the club's trials as well as a chance for previous players to get back into the swing of things ahead of another campaign.
“Leigh Egan and Wayne Henery are going around again as my assistant coaches and hopefully we can keep developing the girls and helping them to get better,” Andronaco said.
“We've built a pretty successful culture and any new girls who are looking to come down and get involved are more than welcome.
“We're looking to top up and add a few more girls to the list we already have.”
