Playing off a 22 handicap, Bell scored five four-point holes but, amazingly, had misses on the second and fourth holes and still turned with 22 points.
Joe De Ieso was runner-up in B-grade with 38 points on a countback while John Fanning won A-grade with 41 points off a nine handicap and Bruce Gross was runner-up with 39 on a countback.

Ty Guiney won NTP on the third (Lewis Homes) and the 14th (A-1 Freight) while Paul Cornelius completed an amazing day with NTP, the jackpot, an eagle and a hole-in-one on the ninth hole. He was only beaten for runner-up in A grade on a countback.
SUNDAY
The two-person Ambrose event was played on a customized par-3 course with prizes for NTP on every hole.

Niki Miller and Heather Long won the women’s event with 46.25 while Bec Jeffers and Robyn Butler were runners-up with 48.25. NTP winners were too numerous to mention.

The temperature was heading for 42 degrees and the wind for 40kph on Thursday but a determined group of golfers headed out before 9am to play a par event, of all things. Hamish Roberts was runner-up with 2, Michael Downs won NTP and consolation balls went to James Ibbotson and John Fanning with 1.
Due to the extreme weather conditions, twilight golf was cancelled on Thursday.
