Batting brilliance from the Bombers had them track down the Flames’ target six wickets down, moving them to 4-0 for the season and keeping them on top of the ladder.
The Flames made 1-88 from their 20 overs batting first, with Georgia Ross’ composed 29 not out off 30 balls vital in posting a competitive score.
Lauren Hall made 21 not out, while skipper Cathy Dervish chipped in with 14 not out.
For the Bombers, opening bowler Macey Brereton was brilliant with the ball, taking 1-9 off four overs.
Chasing, Brereton opened the batting and remained on fore, carving 31 off 30 balls to help drive her side to victory.
The Bombers finished their 20 overs at 4-95, with Sammi Drover's 23 not out off 14 balls helping them lift the run-rate when needed.
The weekend's other fixture produced a tie between Shepparton United and Echuca.
Echuca batted first and made 6-71, with an outstanding spell from Raechel Gardiner finding 3-12 from four overs.
United got 14 not out from Gardiner opening the batting and 13 not out from Leah Mason, but just could not find that one extra run to win the game, finishing its 20 overs at 3-71.
●In B-grade play Nathalia fell against West Bendigo.
The Purples batted first and made 8-50 off their 20 overs, with Charlie Dorrity's 16 the top score.
West had no trouble getting the win, making 3-151, with Nathalia's Fiona Byrnes taking 1-7.
Kyabram knocked off California Gully by 26 runs, with a slashing 13 from Holly Butler leading the way.
Rebecca Squires lit it up with the ball, taking 3-14 from two overs for the Bombers.
