Forward planning due to the Melbourne Cup long weekend helped the Shepparton Junior Tennis Association avoid possible washouts in round four.
Matches were played on Friday night to combat the likely mass unavailability that usually comes with a long weekend, meaning the wild weather which swept the Goulburn Valley on Saturday had no bearing on the games.
In the A1-A2 grade Kialla Park Gold defeated Mooroopna Cats Blue 8-48 to 0-22.
The other clash of the round which was completed had Shepparton Lawn Blue (6-40) getting over Shepparton Lawn Red (2-23).
There was a thrilling draw in the B1-grade as Shepparton Lawn Blue and Nathalia Lawn both finished with 4-31 for the match, with Toolamba, Kialla Park and Shepparton Lawn Green the other victors of the round.
The contest between Kialla Park and Tatura Lawn was the only clash to go ahead in the B2-grade as the former claimed success 5-37 to 3-31.
McEwen Reserve, Kialla Park and Toolamba reigned supreme in the B3-grade, while Shepparton Lawn, Katandra West Tigers and Tatura Lawn had plenty of reasons to celebrate in the C1 ranks.
Among the other grades was a dominant win for Kialla Park Gold in C2, 7-44 to 1-18, as well as clean sweeps of the sets for Shepparton North and Tallygaroopna in their respective Doubles Two clashes.
