The state men's and women's over-60 Central Goulburn Murray Bowls Region singles deciders were held at Katandra West Bowls Club on Monday, with both crowns claimed by GV bowlers.
Kyabram's Rob Sceney and Rushworth's Jean Sprague won themselves a regional title to go with a ticket to the state finals in Bendigo next year after some thrilling clashes.
Sceney faced Alexandra's Graeme Matthews in the semi-final and snuck through 21-18 before coming up against Numurkah's Alan Rogers in the decider.
The Power star put the foot down in the final, winning 23-5.
Sprague took on Wallan's Grace Tavener in the first contest of the day and came away with a 20-13 triumph, but the final was a flip-of-the-coin affair.
Numurkah Golf's Loris Houlihan pushed Sprague all the way to the wire, but eventually the Rushworth legend snared a 21-20 victory and success in the event.
