There were standouts galore for the Opals, but it was Tim Comer and Lyn Gibbs who wowed onlookers with their talents.
In their mixed doubles match, the pair defeated their opponents 6-0.
Meanwhile, Central Park powered to a 6-40 to 3-40 win against St Brendan's thanks to their prowess in the women's doubles.
Central Park was trailing two sets to one following the men's doubles and produced four straight wins following Janelle and Elizabeth Pottenger's 6-4 win against Georgie Michel and Tess Smith.
Lemnos dominated the women's doubles, but was no match for Old Students, going down 6-45 to 3-32.
The Students’ men clinched all three sets, with Aaron Plant's and Tim Hunter's 6-0 blitz the highlight of the three rubbers.
After suffering losses in all three women's matches, Students bounced back superbly to claim the remaining three mixed doubles matches 6-5, 6-4 and 6-0.
Rounding out the last Pennant-A1 match, Shepparton North secured a comfortable 9-54 to 0-25 victory against McEwen White.
North was ruthless, only conceding more than four games until the second last mixed doubles match.
● At A2-A3 level, Shepparton North Red saluted against fellow rivals North Gold 8-53 to 1-24, moving into pole position on the ladder.
Reece and Andrew Dowell began proceedings for Red with a classy 6-1 win in the men's doubles, while Gold's Tracey Bell and Carolyn Allan battled hard with a 6-5 (7-2) set win.
Bunbartha dominated Karramomus 7-50 to 2-32, while St Andrews rallied late to win 6-40 to 3-33 against Central Park and Old Students stormed to a 6-42 to 3-32 victory against McEwen Reserve Blue.
