By Aydin Payne

With the AFL and AFLW draft combines wrapping up last week, some of the region's most talented youngsters were put through their paces as they look to make their dream a reality at the upcoming drafts.

Shepparton's Lachie Ash continued his push to be on an AFL list next season, starring in the yo-yo test with a score of 21.4 - finishing in the top 10 performers.

Mooroopna's Millie Brown and Tallygaroopna product Teagan Brett were at the AFLW combine in a bid to enhance their draft chances.

While those three were showcasing their skill and strengths at the AFL and AFLW draft combine, other Goulburn Valley prospects were kept busy.

Congupna and recent Murray Bushrangers best-and-fairest winner Jimmy Boyer was tested alongside Seymour's Sam Durham at the Victorian State Combine.

Durham was impressive in the agility test, reaching the top five performers with a score of 8.171 seconds.

And at the Rookie Me combine, fellow Bushies best-and-fairest winner and Shepparton United talent Jye Chalcraft was put to the test along with Liam Fiore and Shepparton's Cam Wild.
