At a glance - Echuca v Shepparton United

AT A GLANCE - ECHUCA V SHEPPARTON UNITED

Last time they met: Echuca 58 defeated Shepparton United 50.

Recent (2017 onwards) head-to-head record: Echuca 6-1. The only time Shepparton United has defeated Echuca in the past three seasons was in the first round of the 2017 finals series.

Form line highlights: Echuca's one-goal loss to Seymour last week was its first since a round-10 defeat at the hands of Shepparton. Shepparton United went down to Seymour in a qualifying final and drew with the Lions in round nine, but its only other pair of defeats came against the Murray Bombers.

Key potential match-ups:

Claudia Mawson and Casey Frame v Laura Cole and Liv Kirby — Echuca's attacking end has been clinical for most of the back half of the season, but the best defensive duo in the competition will have something to say about that.

Steph Vick v Bree Hanslow — If Vick plays this head-to-head battle in the midcourt will be worth the price of admission alone. Two titans of the Goulburn Valley League netball landscape with a spot in a grand final on the line — it does not get much better than that.

Bridget Byrne v Jessie Barnes - Byrne adjusted well to the physical nature of Mooroopna's attacking end in an elimination final, but will need to step up once again if she is to get the better of Barnes, who should return to the court on Sunday.
