Known for his high-flying marks, freakish goals and silky skills, the ex-Goulburn Valley League star has one of the most extensive highlight reels on offer.
So much so, a highlights package video on YouTube has amassed more than 30,000 views.
The three-time premiership player was every photographer's dream, with his spectacular marks resulting in a plethora of timeless and incredible images.
Just ask Seymour's Rob Brooks.
The passionate sports fan and photographer spent many seasons watching Saad and capturing his football exploits.
It didn't matter if Saad was perched on a defender's shoulders or kicking the impossible goal, Brooks and his camera were there to document the action.
“He was terrific to watch, an absolute highlights package,” Brooks said.
“Whenever the ball was going forward I would try to have the camera on him because you knew he would do something incredible.
“He was always exciting to watch.”
And there was no shortage of highlights from Saad.
Brooks has uploaded more than 100 images of Saad to his Facebook page ‘Kicks and pics’, showcasing how he saw the maestro through the lens.
But out of the countless memories, there is one that sticks out which Brooks said highlighted the freakish ability of Saad.
“One memory that I won't forget was a day when Seymour played at Echuca and it wasn't even a trademark speccy,” Brooks said.
“This fella from Melbourne sat beside me and he asked if there was anyone significant to watch, any ex-AFL players running around.
“I told him that there was this one player for Seymour he should keep his eye on.
“And within five minutes Saad gathered the ball in front of us and weaved his way past four blokes before he kicked the goal. The bloke from Melbourne couldn't believe it.
“But that's just the player he was. He left a lot of spectators amazed.”
But even if that is Brooks’ most memorable moment, he does have a favourite towering mark.
“The one mark that I like the most was when he played a practice match at Seymour and he took this amazing grab,” Brooks said.
“I have three shots of it (the mark). The first one he's on the guy's shoulders, the next one he's horizontal with the ground and in the third he's holding the ball up on the ground.
“He was just a freakish player.”
