The clubs are supporting Rural Aid’s Gift of Music, a program helping put instruments in the hands of those who need them most.
Instruments are offered free to eligible schools, so more children in need can access music education and participation, despite financial and geographical limitations.
“We finished up delivering more than 80 instruments, a quantity of music stands and support equipment and numerous bags of music to the Rural Aid headquarters in Brisbane,” Seymour Rotary’s Peter Holland said.
“Rotary would like to thank the community for their support of this project. All instruments collected before March 5 have been delivered to Rural Aid and will be sent to needy rural schools soon.
“Instruments received since then will be delivered as soon as practical.”
